On January 14, 2020 Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7

AHHHHH! Windows 7 End of Life!

A FreshStart will ensure your PC is ready for the Windows 7 apocalypse.

So, what’s happening?

“End of Life” sounds super dramatic doesn’t it? What it means is that as of January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer support or patch security holes for PCs running the Windows 7 operating system. END. OF. LIFE. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!

What does that mean for you?

After January 14, 2020, if you’re using a PC running the Windows 7 operating system, you run the risk of being vulnerable to cyber attacks and malware that could cripple your PC, or worse, expose your files and data to unsavory people on the internet.

(If you’re unsure what operating system you’re using, peep these instructions to discover what’s under your hood.)

So, how does a FreshStart help?

Not only will a FreshStart make your PC boot and run at least 10 times faster than when you bought it, if you’re running Windows 7 or Windows 8, we can automatically upgrade you to Windows 10. As simple as that, you’ll be ready for the Windows 7 End of Life transition. Hooray!!! No End of Life for you!!! You’ve been SAVED!!!

Why not just upgrade to Windows 10 myself?

You could, BUUUUUUUT, it’s not as easy as just paying for an upgrade, hitting install, and washing your hands of all of this End of Life drama. You have to consider how to transfer all of your files and software license keys without the risk of losing any of that stuff.

ALSO, if there’s anything yucky mucking up your PC, we clean out that muck so you’re not stuck with that yuck after paying for a new operating system. So, there’s that.
